I'm Kelty, the artist behind Steep Street. I grew up in Portland OR, went to college in the Bay Area, and now live on a quiet farm in Orchards, WA (near Portland) with my partner, Justin, and our two dogs, Mowgli and Frog. I wake up every day thrilled that my work and my life are connected so intricately and I feel pretty damn lucky to spend every day engrossed in a different project- all the while working with incredibly talented and diverse people - you.

This portfolio represents the array of work that I do, including photography, graphic design, and web design, though I'm always excited to try something new for you, your event, or your business. We could design a diorama of your life, a pop-up invitation, a poster of your childhood sketches, a throw pillow of your dog, a stop motion movie, or take pictures of all of the shoes in your closet for new personal stationery.

Your latest hare-brained idea is my latest reason for living.

In between projects, I love going to rummage sales, traveling, watching old movies, swimming, gardening, sending real mail, reading mystery novels, and spending time with my incredibly silly family (especially my twin sister, Hannah). I'm inspired by your story, your life, and your crazy ideas.
